For this personnal project, I wanted to redo the sound design of a scene from the film GhostBuster Afterlife.

The aim was not to reproduce what already existed, but to appropriate the scene and make a new proposal.

I set myself the following constraints:

Kepp the vocals, I extract the vocal from the original scene via my DAW..

Redo the sounds of zero from scratch. No samples. No presets.

I used my synthesizer, Pigments from @Arturia, to create all the sounds you'll hear in the scene.

For the background, I composed a new instrumental part. I didn't want to spend too much time on this part, and goal was not to demonstrate composition skills here. So I kept it simple.

Finally, did a bit of mixing to get the whole thing into space and balanced.
